Run for Hope Tokyo 2009 - a charity event for cancer research -
Run for Hope Tokyo 2009, is an annual charity fun run/walk for cancer research.
Since the opening of the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Chinzan-so(owner:Fujita Kanko Inc.) in 1992, together with the Canadian Embassy Tokyo and the continuous support of families, friends and staff, this year will mark 18 years of this charity drive.
All charity proceeds (minus operating costs) and any publicity that you, your families, friends, sports and business colleagues can kindly donate to this event will be of direct benefit to cancer research here in Tokyo. We trust that we can count on your support and look forward to seeing many of you on the day participating in the event, enjoying refreshments and other fun activities.
Chairman and CEO of the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Isadore Sharp, who has experienced the loss of a son to cancer, believed that one day a brilliant young researcher, will find a cure for the disease.
Today, this legendary run is carried out all over the world.
